Just a short visit this time - Oct 27 to Nov 1. WS was sold out for part of my visit, so booked Kantenah. It will be my first time in that section. Any reccomendations for rooms?
Are you booked in a Deluxe (standard) or a Jr. suite? We always like villa #51 (or #50) if you like being closest to the beach. All four Jr. suite villas (#48-51) sit close together. The Deluxe suites are located in villas #41-47. If you have one of those booked try not to get #41-43 as they are very close to the road and you will hear some traffic noise if you end up on the side of the villa facing the highway.

You will love the Kantenah section as you are right there at the deepest beach area for natural shade, the quieter La Jarra beach bar, less noise and less people and the less crowded swimming area in the sea! Just a five minute walk down the beach to reach Colonial main pool and food venues. Best of both worlds!

thanks so much for the room reccomndations! :2: We will be in a deluxe room for this trip so will be sure to ask for a room away from the road.

Villas #46-47 are nice in that they are halfway between the lobby and the beach. Also they sit right in back of the small private El Rinconcito pool that has a bar (same size pool as the old Royal pool and the Secret pool).

Have fun! :63: :1:
