We receive numerous requests regarding information on Accommodations at the Grand Palladium Resort located on the Mayan Riviera. In order to avoid answering the same questions repeatedly we are in the process of gathering information from the resort itself and from first hand reports of people such as yourselves who have stayed at the resort. We do our best to provide factual information but as much of the information is gathered 2nd hand we cannot 100% guarantee the accuracy. The Kantenah rooms are decorated in the Mayan style. The rooms consist of 252 standard rooms, 132 junior suites, 6 suites and 32 Mayan suites. The standard rooms (Villas 41 - 47) consist of one king bed or two full size beds, shower or bath, balcony, telephone, mini-fridge, AC, safe, cable TV, ceiling fan, hair dryer and coffee/tea maker. The Jr. Suites, (Villas 48 - 51) also have a pull out sofa, and a hydro-massage bath. The suites have one "Jr. suite" type bedroom in addition to an adjoining living room with a second pull-out sofa, TV, safe. These suites have one large bathroom with a hydro massage tub, separate shower, and a large balcony. The adults-only Mayan suites (Villas 33 - 36) have their own private entrance, a spacious balcony, king bed, a stunning bathroom with a hydro massage tub and an outdoor "Mayan shower". Guests in the Kantenah resort have access to the Spa, all restaurants, bars, theaters, sports activities resort wide with the exception of the Royal Yucatan area.
The Grand Palladium Colonial is decorated in the Spanish style. It consists of 414 rooms, 252 which are standard size (Villas 1 - 7) with one king bed or two full size beds, TV with cable, mini fridge, safe, hairdryer, balcony, telephone, shower or bath, ceiling fan, AC, coffee/tea maker. There are 132 Jr. Suites, which in addition to the above have a sofa bed and a hydro massage tub. (Villas 8, 9, 20, 21) There are six suites The suites have one "Jr. suite" type bedroom in addition to an adjoining living room with a second pull-out sofa, TV, safe. These suites have one large bathroom with a hydro massage tub, separate shower, and a large balcony. There are also 24 adults-only Mayan suites. The Mayan suites (Villas 30 - 32) have their own private entrance, a spacious balcony, king bed, a stunning bathroom with a hydro massage tub and an outdoor "Mayan shower". Guests in the Colonial resort have access to the Spa, all restaurants, bars, theaters, sports activities resort wide with the exception of the Royal Yucatan area.
The Grand Palladium White Sand Resort and Spa was completed in December 2005. The White Sand beach has access to a reef for snorkeling. The White Sand has a total of 264 suites distributed through 7 three-story villas. Each villa has 6 suites. There are also 6 bungalow style suites, which contain 2 Mayan suites, or cabanas. These suites overlook the manicured, man-made lake. All the Junior suites have two double beds or one King Size bed, A/C, ceiling fan, mini-refrigerator, cable T.V. with numerous channels, telephone, electronic safety deposit box, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker, smoke detector, iron and ironing board, Jacuzzi and shower, sofa bed, bathrobes and slippers. All Suites have a King Size bed and are similar to the Junior Suites but also include a large living room. All Mayan/Cabana are Adults only and the bedrooms have a king Size bed. In addition, they have a private entrance, a large wooden terrace over the lake, a wooden hammock, and beautiful bathroom with Jacuzzi and an outdoor Mayan Style shower. All the guests have full use of the amenities at the Kantenah, Colonial and the Riviera with the exception of the exclusive Royal Yucatan Suites area. This includes use of the beautiful Spa, all restaurants, bars, theaters, disco, and sports areas.
The Riviera Hotel has a total of 454 bedrooms distributed throughout 12, 3 story villas with 6 Suites and 30 Junior Suites per villa. There are also 11 bungalow type ground level villas with 2 Mayan Suites each. They all include a large balcony with one table and two chairs. The Royal Yucatan has access to the beaches at the Kantenah, Colonial and the White Sand. In addition, the resort sits on the Caribbean and boasts a stunning salt water pool. There is a beach bar at the salt water pool that serves drinks and distributes beach towels.
The Royal Yuvatan Suites are located (in bldgs.69 – 72) and are adults only. These consist of 108 rooms distributed throughout in 3 three level villas with 6 Suites and 30 Jr. Suites per villa and 22 Mayan Suites (Bldg. 72) with a wooden terrace over a large manmade lake. All bedrooms have been furnished the same as the rooms at White Sand Resort & Spa and Riviera Resort & Spa. Both Suites and Jr. Suites in the Royal Yucatan Suites villas have a double jacuzzi on the terrace. The Mayan Suites have wooden hammocks on the terrace.
