Mini Club

Our 4 year old boy and our 6 year old daughter were very happy at the kids club. They actually wanted to go there every day...I guess they get to see enough of mom and dad at home. They will give the kids drinks and they will take them to lunch. They usually eat at El Gran Azul (by the main pool, Colonial & Kantenah) and get to pick their lunch from the buffet. The kids club is very nice and is all fenced in. They will also take them to the pool and beach. They do have a lot of beach toys, you will be able to use them during your stay. No need to bring buckets and shovels along. They also had pool noodles, beach balls and floating devices. You will also be able to get kids life vests at the water sports center. The kids got to be in a kids production of Grease. It was a hoot! Enjoy your stay! Our kids can't stop talking about the Palladium, they are real addicts!

The kids club is great, there is a schedule that they hand out. Either from the activity center or El Ranchito it self. It lists a new activity about every hour each day. From lunch to face painting, pool time, art, crafts, sea shell hunt, treasure hunt, , and more they havae a playground with a trampoline and a zip line, video games, movies etc. etc. The two girls running everything were Elsa and Gabriella, they were very patient and kind and excellent with the children. At night they usually have some kind of kids show or games at the Colonial Lobby theater. Jack is 6 and had a blast, he would beg to go for the whole day, we let him go after lunch as family time is important to us. At 5pm we would go to pick him up, this is closing time for them. He did not want to leave ever. Todd always tipped the girls something when he picked up Jack as they were excellent child care providers and being there and having time to ourselves was priceless. They were always reluctant to take this but we felt they had more than earned it. This was the 5th time we had been there and the first time we left our kids at the club. We will always let the kids go there from now on as they had a blast. So have a good trip and as long as the children have fun in the kids club enjoy your time to yourself.
