Re: Update on Get Together Dining Options

We were there in February. We were staying at TRS, so had other options. In White Sands your only option would be the sports bar, or if you could arrange an ala carte prior to coming, doubtful. Only one buffet was open when we were there, La Dalia, and it was for breakfast and lunch only. I read som...

Had "mini shows" with just a few dancers. Nothing like the elaborate shows of the past.

Re: Last day here. Any questions feel free to ask.

We went to the spa and did the included (for TRS) Hydrotherapy circuit and then hung out for awhile afterward, the spa seemed to be fully open, had to make a reservation, even to work out, in order to go. The snack bar/juice bar was open, it opened at 10 every day, unfortunately when we went at 1pm ...

Re: Dining, activities , music, what is open? TRS? arriving Feb. 19

Thank you, and thank you for the pickleball answer also. I have downloaded the app. and actually have spoken with the hotel about pickleball. That was pretty funny. The language barrier... they wanted to transfer me to the food area. I ended up emailing the animation department on their suggestion, ...

Pickleball at the resort??

I had a previous post asking about facilities open. I was able to answer most of my own questions with further research . I KNOW the resort has had pickleball "vacations" hosted by pros. Does anyone know if they have pickleball courts at the resort now? or were they just lined for the group? Also on...

Dining, activities , music, what is open? TRS? arriving Feb. 19

Any information would be of great help. We will be arriving on Feb. 19th. Booking in the next day or so. Planning on TRS section. Best to book or upgrade upon arrival? Are there additional restaurants open in the TRS resort? How about activities at the main pools? Does anyone know if they have pickl...

stay safe insurance/covid testing

We are hoping to travel in two weeks, from California. Are planning to book a package, including airfare through Orbitz, since it is much cheaper than booking through the hotel. We are Palladium loyalty members, do we qualify for the Stay safe insurance, and the free covid test? Or is that only for ...

Re: Punta Cana vs. Rivera Maya?

I agree with cactusrose. We have been to both Punta Cana and Riviera Maya. There really are not that many activities off the resort in PC. We did have an excellent excursion with Extreme Buggies, driving sand buggies down dirt roads and along beach. the best excursion we have ever been on in all our...

Re: Excursions from GP

We just got back yesterday. Last year we went to Coba. Hired a taxi for the outing . Had bellman in lobby arrange it and a price the day before. The ruins at Coba only accepted pesos, so either change your money at the hotel or at the little stores around the entrance (not the best exchange there). O...

Re: Cancun customs?

We are here now. From USA. Only problem at Cancun airport is the need for more agents to help get everyone through faster. Arrived on redeye at 7:30 am local time took 11/2 hours to clear immigration/customs.
