Re: September 2021 trip to GPK

I just read over on Conde Nast Traveler magazine that the top 5 booking online companies is #1...."Booking.com" and that #5 is.....Hotels.com. I've never used those before. I always seem to get the best pricing thru the resort but then again we always go in May for the Addict party with the 25% prom...

Re: TRS VIP Perks

Brenda should know the answer to this so let's wait and hear the final word on this. Let's not bother Brenda with this right now. There are other people, like myself, who are moderators, that are in the loop about news and updates as well. There is no definite "final word" on whether the VIP bracel...

Re: TRS VIP Perks

You won't get any additional perks for being VIP TRS guest. You'll just get everything that the TRS always offers its guests, whether it is your first time booking there or your 20th!

Re: Last day here. Any questions feel free to ask.

Occupancy most likely will pick up in March due to Spring Break. It's been averaging around 18% in Jan. and Feb. Beaches and pools have been fairly empty. Have no idea what will be brought back that is currently reduced/unavailable such as entertainment/activities/venues/pools/bars etc. :58: Unfortu...

Re: Group dinners

That's a good idea contacting the e-butler as soon as you arrive or even asking if they can make an advanced dinner appointment when you fill out the e-butler form for your room amenities request. It is usually sent to you around a month before your arrival. If you don't receive it, then here is the...

Re: Group dinners

It used to be pre-COVID that 10 or more people were required to all order the same main course. Not sure if that is currently true anymore with the low occupancy at the resort now. I think the most people at a table was either six and more than that they pushed two tables together or had them seated...

Re: September 2021 trip to GPK

So going to Kantenah? What room accommodation did you book? We always stay at a Kantenah Romance suite. Sept. is a long way away and things can change at anytime, as far as what is open and what is closed. We love Hemingways also, especially Thurs. nights with "Chocolate Night"!! :46:

Re: Finally Back!

......We hope that the POP team can be back to somewhat of normalcy by then as we love to participate in the pool games and the interactive evening shows. (We won the couples game last time we were there) I have been looking through pictures from our last trip and it brings back great memories. Did...

You also might try emailing Guest Services. If they don't know, they'll forward it to the correct dept. With both staff and guest population not being the norm, it may be a while till you hear back.

Download the resort app. It will show you everything that is currently open each day. (bars, restaurants, pools, entertainment etc.) Everything is pretty much downsized due to COVID. Occupancy is very low.

Re: Pickleball at the resort??

Pickleball and Padel are slightly different. I just did a search on Google and I believe the courts are a slightly different size between the two and net height. Probably best to check with the Sports Center upon arrival or with the Guest Services desk in the lobby. They might arrange it for you to ...
