Golf in the Area

Post by Uwgolfer » Thu Apr 12, 2018 11:09 pm

Looking to play a round of golf while enjoying my vacation. Any suggestions on courses that you have played? Both scenic and/or challenging.

Here is a link to a post I did last year. Hopefully this deal is still in play. The course is supposed to be beautiful!

If not, there are at least 6-8 courses north of the resort in Playa del Carmen (25 minute ride)....

It has been a few years since I played golf there . I played the Playacar Golf Club track. It's expensive but it was all inclusive bar and snack service plus they picked me up and brought me back to the resort which save on cab costs. It was very hot so wherever you go book an early tee time. I had guests service call the course and book my tee time and pick up time. There are now more courses around but Playacar was the only 18 hole championship course close by and around at that time. When I played Playa it was $175 USD but like I said it included pick up, cart and open beer cart and lunch after the round. It maybe different now so I would check with them first if you decide to play that course. Hope this link helps you.
