Room request

Post by Leo889 » Thu Dec 06, 2018 12:29 am

I will be staying at the Punta Cana spa and resort in 2 weeks. I’m traveling with a 7 month old and 2 1/2 year old child. Which room should I request for? Preferably close to pool and quiet.

I am here right now in building 61 in the Punta Cana section.its far from everything, been here two weeks, leaving today.

Send your request in one week before you depart.

You have a couple of options....

1) building 73 or 63 as it is very close to the nice kids pool with lots of kids toys. I highly recommend a room in the BACK of the building if you want quiet for your child

They just closed the pool near those buildings and beside the kids pool beside the Bohique buffet, drained it and are now digging a big hole in the bottom of it. That pool looks like it’ll be closed for awhile. The kids pool is still fully functional.

2) Building 2000 has just been renovated has just reopened as well as the pool, it’s close to the beach, has a kids pool but it’s just a shallow small pool connected to the bigger pool, has no kids toys like the other pool beside building 73 or 63.

Building 2000 might be the better option for quiet, new rooms, newly renovated pool, close to the beach, the down side is the kids pools is just a small shallow pool with no kids toys

Hope that helps

How far of a walk is building 2000 away from kids pool near building 73? And are buildings 73,75,65 and others around it newly renovated?

Not far at all, 5 minute walk from 2000 to the kids pool by 63

I forgot to mention the kids castle/daycare in the same area as the kids pool, it’s right beside building 75

Building 63 is right beside the kids pool with all the play toys

Building 75 is right beside the kids castle

Maybe building 75 would be suitable for you...it’s right in between the newly open pool by building 2000 and the kids pool right beside building 63..a couple of minute walk either way

Just keep in mind that the pool beside buildings 63, 73 and 75 just closed the other day, they are digging a big hole in the bottom of it right now so I am thinking it’ll be closed for awhile

And yes...63, 73 and 75 were renovated last year

Thanks for the info Brian! I think I’m going to request for building 2000 since it’s newer and only a few minute walk from the kids pool. I’m afraid that the area around building 63 will be too noisy with the pool renovation.

No problem Leo, glad I could help

I think you’ll be happy with building 2000, that along with the pool literally just reopened Dec 1st, the outside of the building looks awesome, I peaked into a couple of main floor rooms and they all look really nice inside. Brand new beds etc

If your looking for daytime quiet for your child, I would request a room on the opposite side of the pool as there is daily activity going on.

Enjoy!
