Royal Suites - Swim Ups - Private Bathrooms

Post by WinSC » Thu Sep 29, 2016 9:02 am

All - I am of course a newbie if asking this question but...

We are planning on a trip to The Royal Suites, GP, Punta Cana in November. Have been reviewing the room categories but not real clear on the bathroom situations for private, enclosed, outside, etc. Love the idea of a swim up suite but my SO would want a private bathroom.

Please advise as to best room ideas. Also, if we are fortunate enough to acquire a swim up, which ones are the most private and get the best sun in the afternoon?

I appreciate any and all help and suggestions! :58:

The romance suites and the deluxe suites have the toilet and shower in a separate room with a door, the cabana suite also has the tub in the bathroom.

IMHO I think the deluxe suites feel the most private as the terrace is not attached to the terrace of the next room.

If you are looking for a bathroom separate from the main room, consider one of the suites (not junior suites ... ex Royal Deluxe Suite). The shower, toilet, and sink areas are in a separate room (private door) from the main room. They are available with swim-up as well.

Ok, so the Junior Suites have the open concept...but the shower and water closet/toilet is private? Tried looking at as many pics as possible. See where some have the frosted glass doors for the shower. Is that for the "business" room as well? If so, would be better if behind solid door. That's when most need their privacy.....and other's in same party may agree as well! :29:

Junior suites have open concept for sink areas and tub (beside the bed). Shower and toilet are separate and each has a frosted door for privacy... you enter off the sink/tub area.

The junior suites do not have a solid door separating the toilet from the room, only he romance, deluxe and cabana suites do

The shower and banos rooms are in a separate section of the room in the swim up junior suites and the user is not visible from the main section of the room. There is a wall with the mirror between the sections. The Jacuzzi is on the other side of the wall. There is no door between the sections but there is still some privacy.

This is,true , but people, who are asking about bathroom privacy usually want more privacy then that affords. Everyone is different as are their bathroom privacy issues
