Palladium Dollars

Post by Luvthecaribbean » Tue Mar 27, 2018 4:30 pm

As there is not much to buy with your Palladium Dollars especially at the Logo Shop (less and less each time we're here), I thought I would buy some more aromatherapy from the travel club as I did in November for $5 each, they are now $15 each....I'm still shaking my head at the big jump in price.
I wish they would bring back towels to buy in the Logo Shop.

We have also found it hard using up the dollars, specially if we are there for 2 weeks.
We have used it for expensive wines, lobster dinners and have used it to get laundry done.

Well, Mumof4boys, that's our problem...we need to go for 2 weeks, lol.
We have treated ourselves to a lobster dinner once at El Dorado but my husband and I ended up in hysterics when I told him to get his tentacles off my plate, lol. We're not use to having lobster with the shell on.

OMG, I would be in hysteric's too. :61:

We just did Mexico for 1 week and it's just not long enough. We like to do 2 weeks in the fall. It always takes a few days before you even start to relax so 2 weeks is wonderful.

When we were there 2 weeks in January 2018 we used our Palladium dollars on Massages at the spa. They were awesome. I know you could use the dollars to upgrade the excursions. Hope this helps. :60:

Hello,

They used to be selling the room bathrobes. You could get brand new ones at the Travel Club or at the reception. Overtime, we bought 8 of them. We used them for ourselves and as gifts for the persons taking care of our home while we were away.

We have also purchased nice bottles of liqueurs (Tequila Añejo, Barcelo Rhum, etc.) using our Palladium dollars. There was a different variety for sale at the reception. Some brands may be a little pricey but with the Palladium dollars they end up costing nothing.

Hope this gives a few more ideas.
